AGE
Student must be age 18 to apply for a CDL License or a Commercial Learner’s Permit to operate Intrastate (state of Illinois Only) and age 21 to operate Interstate commerce

DRIVER'S LICENCE
Student must hold no more than one valid driver’s license that is not cancelled, refused or revoked in other states. or a class A learner’s permit.

HEALTH
Student must be physically qualified and drug free

DRUG TEST
Student will be submitted and must pass a DOT physical and drug screening upon enrollment.

STATUS
Students must provide proof of legal presence.

Full Package
01.
160 HOURS
Of complete CDL instruction in minimum 4 weeks or more for each student.
02.
40 HOURS
Of complete classroom instruction; including but not limited to, preparation for the secretary of state’s written examinations and all chapters of the curriculum.

20 HOURS
Minimum of on the range behind the wheel pre-trip and skills instruction.
04.
20 HOURS
Minimum of on the road behind the wheel driving instruction on public streets and highways.
05.
20 HOURS
Of observation experience composed of behind the wheel, range, and on the road training.

60 HOURS
Of additional classroom, range, and road training based on each student’s specific needs.
